3M Scotchmate SJ3518FR black reclosable fastener comes in a 1 1/2 in width, 50 yd length, uses a rubber adhesive and is packaged 2 rolls per case. Can be used to a maximum temperature of +120 F. These products are generally considered “hook & loop” products. While the traditional system is that of a hook and a loop, some of these products also use an interlocking mushroom like head. This particular 3M item is the loop side. This is an adhesive based reclosable fastener. In addition to the other properties this product is moisture-resistant and flame retardant. This reclosable fastener meets the following standards: ASTM D5169-98, ASTM D5170-98, CID A-A-55126B, FAR 25.853 & FAR 25.855 Appendix F, Part 1.
